Mayan Mound Hotel is a condo hotel concept and convention center located on the marina opposite the shopping area, and the focus of the overall harbour. The pyramidal first two floors of ziggurat forms stone sea walls of planting beds, resembling the 'Walls of Babylon', with attached stack village housing. The buildings are clustered to be reminiscent of Mediterranean Island Housing, and similar to stacked housing of Mayan culture from a thousand years ago.

This architecturally designed, man-made Mayan mound is covered in grass, vines, trees and water falls that rise out of the sea and connect to the other 19 islands of San Pedro. In addition the convention and business center facilities to accommodate approximately 300 guests for both formal and informal functions
